I never knew if my father was a Type I or Type II diabetic. I was
born when he was 65 and he lived until I was 8 years old and he died
of kidney failure. I have not been tested yet, people have been
saying the likelihood of me developing diabetes is greater than my
older brother just because I was born later when my father is sicker.
Is this an accruate speculation?

I am so worried about this up coming hurricane season. It is being said
that it will be worse then last years. We are soooo not ready. even if
a catagory 2 hits the coast it will be as if a cat5 hit. Renay and I
are starting to gather supplies. We were just not prepared enough
during katrina and rita. So this year we will hopefully have all our
ducks in a row. Pray for us and our family and friends. If everyone is
right we are going to need all the prayers we can get. We just don’t
have the money to run off and hide from it. Where would we go if we
did? I know my family is not reliable.
