Hi. I am Jeannette. Am married and live in New Brunswick, Canada. I
have a almost three year old daughter. We live in a small community
which is really nice.
This Friday, I will know for sure if I am a diabetic or just glucose
intolerant. But have it in my mind that I am more of a diabetic than
the glucose intolerant.
Would like to be in this group to make new friends and socialize with
others who know what it is like to be a diabetic.

Hi, I’m nancy. Was diagnosed with Diabetes in 1999. I also have
Retinopathy, Neuropathy, Osteoporosis, Depression, borderline blood
pressure, and I also suffer from migraines, among other things. I’ve
been married for 10 years this October. My mother has had Diabetes for
about 35 years, and my 2 sisters were just diagnosed with it also. But
my sisters are on pills only. My mother and I are on pills and
insulin. So far i am on close to 23 different medications!. I really
do not have no one to talk to to discuss my health issues. no one
knows what I am going through. I also had back surgery on 2 ruptured
disks, which the doctor botched, and I now have to walkwith a cane. I
can’t lift anything over 10 pounds, can’t walk or stand very long.
Anyone out here want to help out. I hope to meet some new friends in
this family, as Sue calls it.
