Hello,
I’m Jenn (33) and I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes this afternoon. I went in with the idea that I probably had it, but it was still a bit of a blow to get the actual diagnosis.
I’m not sure what to do at this point since I’m not seeing anyone about it until next Thursday. I went into the doctor that I thought I was going to be seeing, but once I got into his office he told me that he see’s patients with the company my insurance is throught (IHC) but not MY type of insurance (SelectMed), but he went ahead and did all the labs and took my history, but I’m seeing a new doctor next week (one that takes my insurance).
I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning what I can.
