Hello,

Sorry I haven’t been posting much, but I have been reading all of the posts that you’ve all written and getting a lot of information. I haven’t said much because I’m still feeling like I’m in limbo, not sure what I’m supposed to be doing. The week before last I saw the doctor that I’m going to be seeing from now on. He didn’t give me much information, but did write me a prescription for my glucometer, strips, and lancets. My insurance had to mail me the glucometer and I finally got it yesterday. My Dr. made me an appointment with the Diabetes specialist for Thursday…I sat for an hour and 10 min. before I left….she never showed up. The receptionist rescheduled my appointment for next Wednesday, so we’ll see if she shows up then. So, that’s why I’m still in limbo.

I am going to call the local hospital tomorrow and sign up for the Diabetes Education classes.
