Blog about diabetes

Well I just got told off royal. I was out in the yard moving the sprinkler to a new position for watering and had finished that, was back to the front porch and was about to take my step up on it, when I heard a buzz like a gigantic bee/wasp. I knew that sound and sure enough, a humming bird came around to the side of me (they started showing up at the feeders within hours of putting up yesterday) and was heading to the feeder. But I was too close to it, I froze so as not to spook him away, and he told me off for being too close. Boy was he angry. He chirped and chirped the whole time he wasn’t drinking. Scolding me for all he was worth. He was so cute, but I doubt that was his intention. LOL

I know the email yesterday about the yard stuff and the humming bird feeders have been off subject but have been very upset since Mother’s Day and the stress made my glucose jump up really bad. The fun of watching the humming birds is so nice and I enjoy the little guys so much, that they help me forget some of the stress and that helps the glucose go back down. So actually, it has been sort of to with diabetes, since it was telling about something that helped my glucose levels.
