Hi everyone. I am writing to see if anyone has lifeline in there
home and if they know of any organazations that help pay for lifeline
for diabetics. My good friend has a pump and often runs low blood
sugar to low and several times has had to close of calls. He has
already had a stroke as if he needed more problems. I have talked
him into getting lifeline now but the money is the problem. He lives
on a fixed income due to all these problems. I know they have
lifeline for the elderly that insurance covers but when you only have
MA its hard to find other sources and I’m hoping someone out there
has some information or can point me in the right directions.
Thanks for any information.
Does anyone have lifeline in their home?

I joined this list to lurk and learn more about this disease so I can do more for my FIL and my husband who I think should be tested for it now… but won’t go. Anyway, I just found out yesterday that my dad is being test for it tomorrow. Can this just pop up in a family with out there being a history? I guess it has to start somewhere but I thought it was a hereditary thing… I know I have a lot to learn. I just really don’t want my dad to have this… he already has thyroid disease, a heart condition and high blood pressure… it takes so much medicine like it is he gets depressed about it all and I’m afraid that one more thing on his plate would be more then he can bear. Does that make sense? I have my own health issues and I know I get sooooo tired of taking meds every morning and every night and he takes so much more then I do.
