Ok, I am trying to reply to the message about drinking water. My computer is
still messed up
I tried restoring it to before I was having trouble sending emails, but that
didn’t fix it
after all. Bill was on the phone this morning for over an hour with tech support
and they
finally gave up and said that it wasn’t their server, but had to be a problem
with Windows
that is installed on my computer. I called them back myself (after doing
restore) and they
suggested insted of using Outlook Express, to use their web mail site. So I am
giving that
a try. I had to install all my addresses, one by one. And for some reason a
window keeps
coming up that it the computer is trying to install a file that was deleted by
the computer
guy. It was the task bar icon for Earthlink that I dropped it in February
(dropped
Earthlink).
Now about the water. I drink just about only water. Once in a while will drink
milk, but
can’t do too much of it. I don’t like diet sodas, as they taste too sweet. I
have a 32 oz.
insulated mug with lid next to me day and night. Now if only I could get Bill to
drink
water. He lives on coffee and diet Pepsi.

Hey everyone..I am in shock my BG tonight after work and before dinner was 79…did nothing different except took my metaglip in the am instead of with my evening meal…does this sound normal ?????

just made this today and thought maybe someone might like it…it was real good..
Zucchini and Sauce
saute a med onion and 2 cloves of garlic in 2 tsps of olive oil..
add a medium size can of chopped tomatoes.
add basil and parsley ( to taste I just dump it in ) but about 3 Tbs of both
1 medium size zucchini chopped in 1/4 inch pieces.
add to above and let simmer for a few hours.

Hi , i don’t really talk that much, but i’ve been here a while now. im an obese person and i was woundering if anyone has tried diet pills to loose weight? I’m not the type of person that can stick to a diet and on top of that im only 19 so its really hard.

Received call this morning that family passed away this morning back home in Illinois. Will be home over the weekedn, but gone from Monday-Wednesday. So if you don’t hear form me for the next several days, am wrapped up in that. Am pretty rattled from the death.

Hi,Susan. I have been on Byetta since this spring and it has been a
wonder medication for me. Even though I am a type 2 diabetic, my
oncologist put me on insulin (lantus) and it didn’t do much to help, so
he raised the amount several times. Then he added a second insulin
(novalog) and it did not bring the glucose down where it should be, and
he increased it several times. Finally he added Byetta and within a
couple days my glucose was in the good range. I am still on the
insulins, as they can not be taken away immediately, but am being
“weaned” off of them. Hopefully will be on the Byetta only in time. I
am on the 5 pen. It comes in two strengths, 5 and 10. It is injected
like insulin is, and comes in a pre-filled pen. Each time you use it,
you just turn the dial and inject. Plus the needle heads for the pen
are even shorter than the ones for the lanutus and novalog pens. Tiny
thing. A lot of people have problems with nausea when first starting
the Byetta, but I was lucky and didn’t have any. But that could be due
to being on the 5 pen. If I were to go to the 10 pen, it may be strong
enough to cause the nausea. It usually goes away in a few weeks to up
to six months. But it is some wonderful medication and I am sure
thankful to be on it.
