Ooooo, just had a nice trip into town. We went in to see Lucy, which was a great
visit. The vets are keeping her till Tuesday for continueing observation, so
only got to visit but not bring her home. While going in we passed a stand
someone had set up of home grown veggies and fruit. I told Bill I definitly
wanted to stop and check it out on the way home. I am so glad we did, as they
had some nice stuff. Came home with a dozen ears of sweet corn, several (about
8-10) home grown tomatoes, (sorry Steph), a couple nice cucumbers, and a peck
bag of home grown peaches. Boy am I looking forward to supper tonight! They had
a beautiful head of cabbage and would have gotten it for some fried cabbage, but
didn’t have any bacon and Willliam wouldn’t go back to the store. Oh well, maybe
next time.
