Ok I have a question. Does everyones sugar go up when they are stressed or worried. We have been buying a house on a land contract, well the owner wants to sell the house come to find out we didnt do it right the contract is null and void. Luckily a loan officer was here today, We almost have a loan for this house, but in the mean time I have had to go to the hospital and my sugar was 800, its been that high before, but anyway when my sugar goes up like that I get small blisters on my feet. My doctor perscribed Bactroban Cream 2%, They hurt, and when they bust they are filled with puss, anyone else have this problem? -Linda-

is a major factor in how stable your blood glucose is. Oh yes, it
definitly will make your glucose go up. That is why so many people think if they
are eating perfectly, doing exercise and so on that they can never have their
glucose go up, but they are wrong. Those are things they can controll, but it is
the things we *can’t* control that affects it too. Like in your case, stress
(well, for all of us, stress). That is one reason mine bounces all over, is the
stress times I have. I know this isn’t about stress, but another tip on
something else that will make it go up, that is anoght thing we can’t control.
Some medications will make it go up. Some antibiotics, any of the cortisone
meds, etc. I don’t get the blisters on my feet, but when your glucose is up,
one of the side effects that can come from it is skin problems. Just that for
each person the skin problem can be a different thing. Of course our feet are
very at risk with diabetes, so that may be why your’s shows
up there.
Sure hope things clear up for you with your problems about the land, etc. Buying
and/or selling a home is listed as one of the most stressful things and/or times
to go through. Include building a house in that also.
Love and best wishes,
Sue
