another question I had was if anyone or everyone gets bruises in your test area…my poor arm looks like I have a drug problem and all black and blue…switched to my thigh and now it is all bruised also…I am going to have to let everyone know my husband is not beating me up…

Not every time I test, but at least once a week. I know mine is because I am
having to push so hard and so many times at the test site to get enough blood to
test. Does your lancet device have an adjustable setting for how deep it goes? I
know the FreeStyle I used to use was adjustable and the OneTouch Ultra also has
an adjustable one. If you have it set for deepest puncture, it may be too deep
for your skin and causing the bruising.
