I take metformin and diamicron to a total of 7 pills a day then I take a high blood pressure pill called monopril. The metformin can cause the runs though which it does with me so I have to take kaopeptac to control that. But they do work. Chat soon.

check out www.rx.com and click on drug information. YOu can check most
any drug information on there. Some of the ones you asked about are
mixtures of 2 meds, like Glucovance which is metformin and I forget the
other*G* I should know to as I take it every day!
If you start glucophage/metformin and the dose causes diahrrea reduce
the dose til you can take it without symptoms then raise it slowly to
the regular dose. This helps your system cope with the nasty effects of
the glucophage. Some folks that cant tolerate glucophage/metformin can
    take fortemet with no problems.
