Just got back from doctors office. The lab results for my A1c was 6.7 and the at home was 7.1. I took my record of the at home test to show the doctor and he said that wasn’t too bad a difference for it being an over the counter test. But not to rely on it, to make sure to continue the lab A1c’s and of course continue seeing him on a regular basis. Which I knew to do that.
Oh, he also is going to write his referral/recommendation for Dr. Scott to do the gastric bypass. So I will have my primary care doctor’s referral/recommendation and my diabetic specialist one. Now to contact Dr. Bollis and get him to send his off also. He is my cardiac specialist.
