Have you thought about trying Lantus? It is usually used in place of the 75/25, and works great with me once I started using it with Novalog. Yes, it is more expensive maybe, than some of the others, but it works well for me… and the Cost over the way I feel, which is what did it for me.

Tina: I was on Lantis and it did not work. My Endo has tryied every type of insulin. U500 is my last resort. I am disabled and live on a fixed income. I gave diabetes to all 4 of my children and one of them is mentaly chalenged. I am under a lot of stress trying to help them and to keep my home.A fixed income sucks. I get all my insulin free from Lilly Care program. The U500 costs 200$ a bottle. The bills from my bypass is out of this world. Stress is why I can`t get my BS down. Steve.
