I guess I”m still confused, then. You’re saying NObody’s blood sugar should rise after eating Thanksigiving dinner that includes all those carbs and simple sugars, just diabetics?? The normal range for blood sugar is anywhere from 80 to 120 and my non-diabetic family member’s readings were all between 130 and 160 (except my sweet-ish mom) only half an hour after eating. As I said before, I was assuming their numbers went back down to within the normal range as their bodies properly digested all those carbs. Oh well, different interpretations I guess. I”m going by what I was taught at the hospital.
