Blog about diabetes

Hi. Just a note to let you all know I am feeling some better today. Glucose is still high, but cardiologist saw me today for my pre-cath check up. I explained to him about what has been going on, so he did some “tweaking” on my insulin until I can see the diabetic doc on Monday and also to help get it better controlled for tomorrow’s heart catheterization. Got to be at hospital by 8:00 tomorrow morning. He will check the glucose before starting the cath and will adjust as needed and in recovery through out the day. I should get to come home tomorrow evening if all goes ok and no stint is needed. If any problems come up or if they do need to place a stint while in there, will be in hospital till at least Friday. I slept almost all of yesterday, like the day before but have been feeling better since saw the doc this morning. Will be so glad to see the diabetic one on Monday. My cardiologist asked why I didn’t stay to see the diabetic one this past Monday and explained hubby
had a hissy fit that it would make him late for work. I am not happy about it and at least one of my doctor’s is wanting to talk to him about it. Still not up to reading any emails. Is all I can do to get this one written and out.
