feel low but not

May 31st, 2006 · 1 Comment

ok this is a question I should have asked along time ago but for some reason did not..ok what do you do if you get that sweaty yuck feeling of being low but when you test you are normal ? do you treat like a low and have a carb ? do you let it pass and hope you feel better ? this happens to me almost every day about 2 hours after taking my metaglip. I think its just a rush of the meds but dont know what to do about it…

    Margi,
Your meds may be making your BG fall really fast and that is why you
feel low. I guess it would depend on how long the feeling lasts and
how much it bothers you whether I would do anything about it. Also how
low you are going. You dont want to undo what the Metaglip does*G*
If you really cant stand how it feels, maybe take a glucose tablet and
it will bring you up about 15 or 20 points but it wont hang on like
    food would.
    Walk in Peace
    Ruby
