Wow. I had written quite a long time ago about having trouble getting enough blood for my test monitor. I would stick and have to work and work to get a drop of blood out. Still have to work at it, but had learned some techniques for making it go faster. I had a very unusual happening a few minutes ago. Instead of having any problems getting blood, it gushed out. As soon as the lancet stuck me, it was running all over. I do mean running. A stream down my arm. Yes, I did get some of it one the test strip for the monitor, but had a terrible time getting it to stop. I always put an alcohol pad on it with pressure as soon as I am done, but it totally filled the pad and most of another one. I was really putting pressure on it to stop. Finally got it to stop, but have one heck of a bruise setting in. Already just bit less than a half dollar size.

Anyone else ever had this happen?

Love,

Sue
