Blog about diabetes

Ok, just waiting for Bill to finish dressing. Then off to urgent care center. My foot started hurting something terrible last night about an hour or so before going to bed. Hurt worse when walked on it. Thought it was just a stone bruise. Still really painful this morning, can hardly stand the pain and walking is almost imposable on it. Took Blackberry out for potty and sat on steps. That was when I noticed a black thing stuck to the bottom of my foot, in the area of the pain. Thought something was stuck to it. Not stuck to it, as it turns out. But imbedded in it. He tried pulling it out and can’t get a hold on it well enough and it is so painful to be touched. So off to have the urgent care doc get it out. Not a splinter, feels like metal and is a good size chunk. Just what I need being diabetic and it being in my foot!

Will try to let you know how it came out. If I feel up to it.
