Went into Wal-mart after 10:00 to pick up a few things, and on way back home just after 11:00 the onstar phone rang. It was Bill. Letting me know I needed to come pick him up. Not at work. He had been on his way home from work, thought he saw a kid in the road, swerved to miss it, the car spun around in a 360, went across the left lane of traffic (on a 4 lane state highway - two lanes each way, with median in between), slid down the hill of median on the passenger side of the car, front right of car hit a storm drain, and rolled/flipped the car three times, coming to rest on the hood. Have been to er and out side of scratches from the broken windows, and some bruising, they gave him the all clear. Have said prayers of thanks over and over. Also very glad we always wear seatbelts. The police said it would have turned out much different for Bill if he had not had his seat belt on. I would not have been getting him at the er, but would have been getting in touch with a funeral
home. The car is totaled. We are going to go take pictures of it tomorrow. Will send them later. I am sort of in a bit of shock myself and imagine when things wear off, I will fall to pieces. Have been through a very wide range of emotions. Just got home from the er.
Love,
Sue
