Ok, does anyone have any ideas of how to get the group the American Diabetes Association hired to call people for donations to the ADA, to stop calling. It is not that I don’t want to help. But they are at the point of harassment. I have told them twice now to remove my name and phone number from their call list (this has been with in the past two weeks alone) and not to call me anymore. But they are still calling. I mean up to two and three times a day, at least a dozen times each week. They call in the evenings, on weekends (which Saturday is bad enough, but Sunday?!?!). They just will not take no for an answer and will not stop calling me. This has been going on for almost an entire month. They all have really heavy accents and I don’t know if they can’t understand English, so are not understanding when I tell them not to call anymore and to remove my name and phone number. I am getting really sick and tired of the calls. It is not that I have any beef with the ADA, but
it is the group they have hired to do the calling for them. I have tried to find a phone number for the ADA, but the only number that is on their web site, automatically goes to my local ADA office. And they have no idea what to do to help. The calls are coming so often, that I have quit answering my phone, unless I know who’s number is on the caller id, and if I don’t recognize it, I let the answering machine get it. They always hang up if the answering machine picks up. But I still know it is them, by the caller id on my phone. I told them once again yesterday to stop calling and remove my name and phone number from their list. But got another call just a bit ago, and it is 9:00 p.m here.
Any ideas on how to get them to stop?????
Thanks,
Sue
