Surgery went well. They took great care of me. Woke up with quite a bit of pain, buth they gave me three shots in the post-op while there. And another one for nausea. Once back at the same day surgery part of post-op, they gave me some 7-Up and boy, did thta taste good. Also gave me 2 vicodin to take (7.5 - 500) and finished knocking the pain. So glad doctor said to brning a walker. It helped. Slept all the way home and most of yesterday. Still really spaced out. I know the anesthesia willl continue to mess with a person for quite a hwile afeter wards. Have been taking the vicodin about every 5 hours and only doing one at a time. Doc said I could have it every 4-6 hours and one or two pills at a time. Also keeping ice packs on it. Am to stay in chair with it propped up as much as possible, keep ice on it and rest. Spent all of yesteraday in the chair, so while up for bathroom break thought I waould take a cuple minutes to let ya all know how am doing. Then back to chair. And
I imagine back to sleep, (from so much vicodin and the lengering anesthesia). Have to keep the bandages on for two wholed days. Good thing theya warned me to wear something thta could fit over the bandage. I had just gotten a dress, nothing fancy, but an everyday kind of dress, frmo Roamans. Wore it and was so glad didn’t have to mess with jeand and tee shirt. I am sure jeans would neever have fit over the bandadages.

Dohn’t know when I ‘ll get to write again. WEll, medicine is kicking again and about to fall out of chair trying to stay awake.
