Blog about diabetes

Hi Everyone,
I am pretty new to this group…was diagnosed about a year
ago…what a shock because I was not having any of the usual symptoms.
My doctor just thought it would be a good idea to get me checked out
due to both my father and sister having diabetes. I started out on
Metformin twice a day and couldn’t continue (terrible diarrhea),so now
I take one Actos pill/daily…no needles yet…I am watching the carbs
and sugar, but am having a rough time losing this extra weight. Does
anyone here have this problem? Any pointers? I would appreciate
anything you could share with me. Thanks!
