Thank you for that link, steph. I have been trying very hard to cut back on my sugar consumption, and have discovered that the less sugar I eat, the less I crave! I wonder if anyone else has ever experienced this? My cravings were very strong.

That is absolutely true. Congratulations on your weight loss, steph. I was 174 after cancer treatment (I highly recommend cancer for losing weight) but now I’m back up to 180. Don’t know if I’ll be able to lose it again. My granddaughter, Beth, weighs close to 300 and she seldom eats less than two platefuls at every meal. I have spoken to her about her risk for diabetes, but so far it has fallen on deaf ears.

Very brave and kind of you, steph. I am not the type to be a good caretaker, but as I am the one that soonest wil need a caretaker, I don’t have to worry about it. I hope I can somehow avoid Alzheimer’s. My sister has dementia, but her kids pitch in and help.
